Friendship

I had the pleasure of attending a dinner party for a friend that is leaving town. It was a small dinner party – six women. I knew two of the women; the other three were new acquaintances. I have to say it was a fun and enjoyable evening. It was nice to meet some new people, share stories and laugh a lot! Maggie – our friend who is moving to Vermont – had us laughing out loud. The stories she can tell!

It is always hard to say goodbye to a friend, even if the goodbye is temporary. These transitions also remind me of how fortunate I am to meet such nice people. I am blessed to have such positive, fun-spirited people in my life. And, now having a friend in Vermont gives me a reason to travel to a new destination.
